Jacob Oest

Jacob Oest is a Chief Specialist at Ørsted, specializing in the Foundations and Wind Turbines department. They began their career with an internship at the Engineering College of Aarhus while completing their B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Oest has held various roles at Ørsted, including Senior Lead Specialist and Lead Structural Specialist, and has been involved in significant projects like the Greater Changhua wind farm. Prior to their current role, they completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Aalborg University, where they focused on structural optimization for offshore wind turbine support structures.
