Jakob Borg

Jakob Borg is a Lead Application Architect at Ørsted, bringing over 20 years of experience in the software development life cycle. Previously, Jakob held senior roles at KMD, Innova IT A/S, and Juul & Stejle A/S, where they played a pivotal role in designing and developing complex software solutions, including cloud-based applications and integration platforms. Jakob also served as CTO at Wantr, successfully raising $600K in seed funding for a scalable shopping tool. They have contributed to architectural guidance and technology standards at Ørsted while facilitating workshops to promote Domain Driven Design practices. Jakob holds a degree in Computer Science from Aalborg Universitet and a "Studentereksamen" in Mathematics from Grenaa Gymnasium.
