Jens Varder

Jens Varder is the Managing Director of Ørsted Insurance A/S, where they oversee the day-to-day management of the insurance captive. With extensive experience in compliance and risk management across the financial and energy sectors, Jens has held key positions including Senior Risk Specialist in Internal Audit at Ørsted and Head of Section in the Financial Analysis Division at Finanstilsynet. They began their career as a student worker at the Ministry of Transport and earned a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
