Jim Pyrah is currently the Lead Geoscience Trenching Specialist at Ørsted, focusing on offshore geotechnics and site investigation. With over 20 years of experience, Jim has contributed significantly to various renewable and interconnector projects, including Revolution, South Fork, and Hornsea 1 & 2. Prior roles include Head of Geotechnical Engineering at DeepOcean and Geosciences Manager at CTC Marine Projects. Jim holds a B.Sc (Hons) and PhD in Geology, Oceanography, Geophysics, and Geotechnics from Bangor University.
