Jonatan Midtgaard

Jonatan Midtgaard is a skilled quantitative developer with a diverse background in software development, project management, and academic research. Currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Developer at Ørsted since May 2023, Jonatan previously co-founded Bitfield Audio, contributing significantly to the open-source project "OTTO" with a focus on digital signal processing, graphics, and back-end development. Experience as a Software Developer at SBT Instruments involved creating software for proprietary sensors, emphasizing physical modeling, data analysis, and embedded Linux programming. Jonatan completed a PhD at Aarhus University, specializing in topological systems in cold atomic gases, while also serving as a teaching assistant and gaining a Master's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
