Jonathan Lee is a Senior GIS Specialist at Ørsted, contributing to the Hornsea Three Offshore Wind Farm project since June 2019. Previously, Jonathan held roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Leicester, focusing on mapping microhydropower in rivers in Africa from September 2017 to August 2022, and served as a GIS Officer at the British Antarctic Survey, developing an open-access, web-based GIS for the Pine Island Glacier system from November 2016 to September 2017. Jonathan's career includes multiple research assistant positions at the University of Leicester, GIS/Remote Sensing Graduate placement at G-STEP, GIS and Remote Sensing Internship at Forest Research Wales, and a GIS Intern role with the Welsh Government. Jonathan earned a Master's Degree in GIS and Remote Sensing and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from Aberystwyth University.
