Julia King

Julie King is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in NERC compliance and operations technology. Currently serving as the Head of NERC Compliance Americas and Head of Compliance and Reliability at Ørsted since August 2021, Julie has previously held key compliance roles at AVANGRID, Inc., and Rochester Gas & Electric. Julie's career at AVANGRID included positions such as Manager of NERC Compliance and Senior Manager of NERC Compliance, spanning over a decade. Julie began in the energy sector as Lead Chemist and Technical Director at Rochester Gas & Electric. Julie holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Strathclyde and Universidad Pontificia Comillas, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
