Katrine Bech Andersen

Katrine Bech Andersen is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Bioenergy Project Execution at Ørsted since March 2017. Previously, Katrine held multiple senior positions within Ørsted, including Head of Wind Farm Early Phase Design and Senior Manager for Portfolio Optimisation and Projects, focusing on CapEx projects in the Bioenergy division. Katrine has also served as Project Director and Lead Project Developer in the thermal power plant division, overseeing business case ownership and project progress reporting. Prior experience includes roles at DONG Energy, where Katrine managed CapEx projects and contributed to early-stage conceptual analyses. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Energy from the Technical University of Denmark and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Financial Management from Copenhagen Business School.
