Kevin Hansen

Kevin Hansen serves as the Head of Government and Market Affairs for Ørsted in New York, where responsibilities include overseeing government affairs and stakeholder engagement to enhance the company’s renewable energy initiatives. Prior to this role, Kevin held several leadership positions at Empire State Development, including Senior Vice President and Head of Public Policy, where notable achievements included the passage of significant legislation and management of a climate change planning initiative. Kevin's earlier experience spans roles in public administration with the District of Columbia government, strategy consulting at Bain & Company, and auditing at PwC. Kevin holds a Master in Public Administration from New York University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Accounting from the University of Iowa.
