Lorenzo Zeni is currently the Lead Power System Engineer at Ørsted, where they focus on the overall design of transmission systems for offshore wind farms and support R&D activities related to power electronics. Lorenzo previously served as a Research Assistant at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, concentrating on the integration of wind power into the power system. They also completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, researching control and communication of offshore wind power plants. Prior to joining Ørsted, Lorenzo worked at DONG Energy and Vestas as a PhD student. Lorenzo holds multiple engineering degrees from the Università degli Studi di Padova and the Technical University of Denmark.
