Lucas Mackie is a Senior Wind Energy Analyst at Ørsted, having begun the role in 2024 after serving as a Wind Energy Analyst since 2022. They defended their PhD thesis in tidal energy modelling, assessment, and optimisation at Imperial College London in 2022. Lucas also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution from 2018 to 2020 and volunteered with the SODIS Foundation in 2016. Previously, they completed a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering at the University of Liverpool in 2015.
