Madelein Rijk is a Permit & Environmental Manager at Ørsted, where they contribute to the development of offshore wind projects by managing permit and environmental topics. With a strong passion for the energy transition and sustainable supply chains, Madelein previously held roles as an Environment & Sustainability Specialist at Vattenfall and a Sustainability Advisor at Royal HaskoningDHV. They also founded ChocQue, a chocolate brand focused on sustainable sourcing from Bali. Madelein's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology and a Master's Degree in Environment & Resource Management from VU Amsterdam.
