Margaret Lemmerman

Margaret Lemmerman is an experienced professional in legislative affairs and policy advising with a strong background in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Head of Federal Affairs for Offshore North America at Ørsted since March 2020, Margaret has also been with the American Wind Energy Association since May 2011, where roles have included Manager, Senior Director, and Director of Federal Legislative Affairs. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Policy Advisor at the British Embassy from July 2008 to May 2011 and serving as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2004 to July 2008. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University, earned between 2001 and 2004.
