Mark Wilkie

Mark Wilkie is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Commercial Director at Ørsted since September 2023, focusing on global partnerships for decarbonisation in the Chemicals, Steel, and Technology sectors. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Carbon Management Director at GaffneyCline, where responsibilities included leading advisory services for decarbonisation in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Mark's experience also encompasses a role as Global Renewable Energy Programme Manager at The HEINEKEN Company, where a 2030 Net Zero strategy was developed. Mark previously headed the Renewable Energy Project Development Division at Saudi Aramco and served as Renewable Energy Projects Director at Platina Partners LLP. Early career roles included business development at Solar Green Ltd, project management at BP Solar, and eBusiness strategy consulting at BP. Mark holds a BEng(hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from The University of Manchester, a Certificate in Climate Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and completed an executive program at IMD.
