Martin Schrøder

Martin Schrøder possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Development and Regulation at Ørsted since August 2020, after previously holding the position of Senior Lead Business Developer. Prior to Ørsted, Martin worked at Dansk Energi as Chief Adviser and at The World Bank as an Energy Specialist, focusing on renewable energy project development, power sector reform, and market integration. Experience also includes roles at Energinet.dk as an International Adviser, where responsibilities involved European market development, and a secondment at ENTSO-E in Brussels, contributing to the harmonization of European balancing markets. Early career experiences include project management roles at Vestas and regulatory analysis at the Confederation of Danish Employers. Martin holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Aarhus University and has studied at Boğaziçi University.
