Martin Svane

Martin Svane is an experienced manager and cost engineer at Ørsted since October 2015, specializing in CAPEX cost estimation and financial analysis. In the current role as Manager, Martin oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies while previously serving as a Senior Cost Engineer, focusing on creating cost models for offshore wind farms and developing best practice guidelines. Martin's work includes stochastic cost modeling and developing in-house budget tools. Additionally, Martin has been functioning as a financial analyst since early 2022, handling pricing and forecasting of wind turbines and evaluating internal project financials. Martin's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Finance from Copenhagen Business School and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from DTU. Prior experience includes independent consultancy in machine learning solutions and mentoring high school students.
