Mathias Stolpe

Mathias Stolpe has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as Senior Lead Numerical Specialist at Ørsted since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mathias was a Professor in Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization at DTU Wind Energy from February 2015 to August 2022. Previously held positions include Senior Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark from January 2012 to January 2015, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the same institution, and a Ph.D. student in Optimization and Systems Theory at the Royal Institute of Technology from January 1998 to March 2003. Mathias obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Optimization and Systems Theory and an M.Sc. in Vehicle Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with undergraduate studies in Aeronautics at Imperial College London.
