Matthew Cliffe has extensive experience in electrical and maintenance roles within the energy and manufacturing sectors. Starting as an Apprentice Electrician at Phillips 66 and progressing to an Electrical Technician, Matthew later served as an Electrical Technician at British Steel. Matthew transitioned to Siemens Gamesa as a Maintenance Technician before joining Ørsted, where roles included Wind Turbine Technician and Senior Remote Diagnostics Technician from October 2019 to June 2023. Currently, Matthew holds dual roles as WTG Reliability Engineer and D6 Platform & D7 Authorising Engineer at Ørsted since September 2025. Matthew's educational background includes Higher National Certificates in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation Technology from North Lindsey College, along with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from HETA.
