Michael Andersen

Michael Andersen currently serves as the Head of Technology for Renescience at Ørsted, focusing on optimizing and developing their novel waste treatment technology. Previously, Michael held leadership roles at DHI, including Director of Vessels and Maritime Technology, where responsibilities encompassed business unit management and strategic planning. Prior to that, significant contributions were made as R&D Manager at Bawat A/S, overseeing the development of ballast water treatment solutions. Michael's experience also includes project management in environmental evaluation and contaminated site investigations, alongside a strong academic background with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
