Mike Day is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the media and public relations sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of UK Media at Ørsted since July 2017, Mike has previously held the position of UK Media Relations Manager. Prior to Ørsted, Mike worked at Lightsource Renewable Energy as a Senior Communications Executive from May 2014 to June 2017, and freelanced as a Writer/Editor from March 2011 to May 2014. Earlier career roles include Account Executive at The Scott Partnership, Senior Account Executive at Impact Media PR, and News and Sports Reporter for the Lancashire Evening Post and Guardian series. Mike holds a BA (Hons) in Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire, earned between 2000 and 2003.
