Morten Terkelsen

Morten Terkelsen is an experienced professional in the field of high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) equipment for offshore wind farms. Currently serving as Director and Head of HV Cables ENG Management at Ørsted since February 2018, Morten has held various leadership roles, including Director of HV Cables and Head of HV Cables & ELS Fabrication. Prior to Ørsted, Morten worked at DONG Energy from February 2012 to February 2018, where responsibilities included Head of Array Cables and leading the Offshore Transformer & HV Components Team. Earlier experience included serving as a Design Engineer at Siemens Wind Power, focusing on turbine transformers and inspecting failures in MV transformers and switchgears. Morten holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark, earned between 2005 and 2010.
