Muhammad Imran Khan is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector with a strong focus on offshore wind. Currently serving as the Lead Wind Farm Commissioning Manager for Hornsea 3 and Hornsea 2 at Ørsted since February 2017, Muhammad has also held other key roles such as Windfarm Commissioning Manager for Hornsea 1 and Senior Asset Integrity Specialist for the Offshore Wind Portfolio. Prior to Ørsted, experience includes positions at RWE Renewables and E.ON, where responsibilities ranged from Technical Interface Engineer for the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm to Electrical Asset Integrity Engineer and O&M Support Engineer. Muhammad began the career as a Technical Sales Consultant at Phones 4u and gained initial engineering experience with Intel Corporation as a Hardware Design Engineer during an industrial placement. Muhammad holds an MEng Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester.
