Osazee Idehen is a highly experienced professional in the field of high voltage direct current (HVDC) and power electronics, currently serving as the Lead Specialist for Global HVDC & FACTS at Ørsted since January 2021. In this role, Osazee leads and develops engineers and experts across various regional offices worldwide and participates in Ørsted’s High Potential Leadership Programme. Previously, Osazee held multiple positions at GE from October 2013 to December 2020, including Lead R&D Engineer and Program Manager for Future Grid Research. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Power System Engineer at RINA and Power Electronics Design Engineer at Turbo Power Systems. Osazee holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University.
