Patrick Harnett is a seasoned professional in the energy and construction sectors, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Ørsted and a member of the Group Executive Team. Previously, Patrick led Ørsted’s European Execution Programmes, managing over 6GW of offshore wind projects, including the Hornsea 3 project in the UK. From 2016 to 2020, Patrick was involved in various leadership roles at Ørsted, beginning as Senior Project Director and advancing to Senior Programme Director for Hornsea 2. Before joining Ørsted, Patrick held significant positions at Centrica and EDF Energy, focusing on diverse energy technologies. Patrick earned an Executive MBA and a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering.
