Paul Haines

Paul Haines is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and public affairs. Currently, Paul serves as the Head of UK Media Relations at Ørsted since February 2020. Prior to this role, Paul was the Head of Content and Communications at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers from February 2018 to December 2019. Paul's previous positions also include Director of Public Affairs & Policy at Centrica, and Head of Regional Public Affairs at British Gas. Early career highlights include roles as Corporate Affairs Manager at Centrica, Group PR Manager at Connaught plc, and Account Director at Redwood Consulting. Paul began the professional journey in public relations as a PR Executive at GVA UK. Paul holds a BA in English from the University of Oxford, earned between 1995 and 1998.
