Paul Hazell

Paul Hazell is an experienced project and operations manager with a solid background in the renewable energy sector, particularly offshore wind farms. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Ørsted since August 2015, Paul is transitioning to support the construction of Hornsea 3 after overseeing operations at Hornsea 2. Prior roles include Operations Manager for both Hornsea 2 and Westermost Rough wind farms, and Deputy Operations Manager, where responsibilities included planning and managing performance in line with business strategy. Previous experience encompasses offshore coordination at DONG Energy, site planning at Siemens Energy, and various leadership positions within HM Forces, managing logistics, training, and human resources. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
