Peter Russell

Peter Russell is currently the Construction Delivery Manager for the Hornsea 3 Grid Connection at Ørsted, overseeing the commissioning process for both the 400kV Grid Connection and the Hornsea 3 Battery Energy Storage System. Peter has previously held various roles in commissioning and project management, including positions at DONG Energy, RWE Innogy, Siemens, and Fluor, where responsibilities included supervising commissioning works and managing complex renewable energy projects. Peter's experience spans quality assurance and construction management within the offshore wind sector, ensuring the successful completion of numerous high-profile projects. Previously, Peter worked as both an Interim and Transmission Maintenance Manager for the Hornsea offshore wind farms, ensuring the maintenance and operational readiness of transmission assets.
