Philip Wendt currently serves as the Global Head of Fabrication & Commissioning Function at Ørsted since October 2019, leading a team that focuses on optimizing fabrication processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Philip has held various leadership roles within Ørsted, including overseeing onshore construction management and electrical safety training. Prior to Ørsted, Philip was the Head of Logistical Asset Management at Siemens Gamesa, managing a team of maritime and aviation experts for wind farm operations and maintenance. Previous experiences include roles at Siemens AG in maritime and aviation logistics, freelance helicopter piloting, and service in the German Navy as an officer. Philip holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Shipping and Logistics and a Diplom in Economics, along with a LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
