Rémi Piatek

Rémi Piatek is a highly experienced professional in the field of economics, currently serving as a Lead Numerical Specialist at Ørsted since January 2020, following a tenure as Senior Numerical Specialist within the Numerical Competence Centre. Prior to this role, Rémi held the position of Associate Lead Quantitative Analyst and Senior Quantitative Analyst at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from August 2013 to December 2019, also serving as an Associate Professor with a focus on Bayesian inference, computational econometrics, and factor modeling, while coordinating international research projects. Rémi's academic pursuits include a postdoctoral scholarship at the University of Chicago and a PhD in Economics from the University of Konstanz, complemented by significant teaching contributions in summer courses on Bayesian Econometrics. Additionally, Rémi has engaged in research as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Sydney.
