Richard Karlsen

Richard Karlsen is currently the Head of Long-Term Forecasting at Ørsted, where they lead a team of financial analysts to forecast the company's future performance and capital structure. Previously, they held prominent roles including Head of Valuation for Ørsted's APAC region and Head of Economics at SLR Consulting. Richard earned a Master's degree in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL, achieving a distinction, and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Durham. Their experience spans financial analysis and modeling within both the renewable and oil and gas sectors, emphasizing energy policy and sustainable innovation.
