Richard Powney

Richard Powney has over two decades of experience in project management, primarily within the offshore wind and engineering sectors. His career began in project engineering at APV Baker, followed by various roles at notable companies such as DONG Energy, Ørsted, and OX2, where Richard held senior leadership positions including Head of PMO and Technical Project Management and Deputy EPC Director. Richard has successfully managed large-scale projects, including offshore substations and metro systems, demonstrating expertise in project controls, engineering, and team leadership. Richard's educational background includes a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
