Rune Johansen

Rune Johansen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management, analytics, and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Solution Manager at Ørsted since October 2018, Rune leads teams in delivering core data capabilities, including data lakes and cloud data warehousing. Previous roles at Ørsted include Lead Application Architect and Senior Advanced Analytics Architect, where Rune focused on enterprise platforms and data science model governance. Prior to Ørsted, Rune worked as a Senior Developer at Edlund A/S, specializing in data-heavy applications, and held various research and teaching positions at the University of Copenhagen, significantly contributing to experimental mathematics. Rune holds a PhD in mathematics, with a focus on operator algebras and symbolic dynamics, from the University of Copenhagen, as well as an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in mathematics and physics from the same institution.
