Sam Tormey is currently a Geoscience Construction Manager at Ørsted Americas, having also held the position of Senior Geophysicist at the same company from 2021 to 2024. Earlier in their career, Sam worked as a Data Processing Advisor and Technical Advisor for MMT from 2017 to 2020, and as a Hydrographer for Offshore Analysis & Research Solutions from 2012 to 2017. They began their professional journey as a Fieldhand at Essex Farm in 2009 and gained valuable experience as a GIS Specialist for 7Q10 Environmental Consultants and as a Marine Spatial Analyst for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
