Sander Smit is currently serving as the Lead Commercial Manager for Offshore Wind at Ørsted since September 2023, having previously held the position of Commercial Manager for P2X. Prior experience includes a series of roles at Vopak from November 2015 to July 2023, such as Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, Sales & Marketing Analyst, and Business Development Analyst in LNG. Additionally, Sander worked as a Scouting Manager at PortXL and conducted post-graduate research on LNG at the Port of Rotterdam. Early career experiences include a project management role at ClubCollect and an internship at Shepstone & Wylie Attorneys. Sander holds a Master of Science in Maritime Economics and Logistics from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Master's Degree in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Groningen.
