Sarah Abboud serves as the Structural Engineering Manager for Ørsted, managing the structural and mechanical engineering scopes of the Hornsea 3 Offshore Converter Stations, which are part of the largest offshore wind farm globally. Previously, Sarah held the position of Technical Project Lead in the Offshore Power Transmission Innovation team, contributing to the delivery of innovative projects for offshore substations. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead for Structural Steel Engineering at Dar Al-Handasah, where management of large-scale infrastructure projects was a key responsibility. Sarah Abboud holds a Master of Science in Wind Power Project Management from Uppsala University and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Lebanese University.
