Simon Copp

Simon Copp is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the energy and resources sectors. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Ørsted since November 2015, Simon manages HR services for over 1400 employees in offshore wind and bio-energy businesses. Previous positions include Senior HR Consultant at Premier Oil, Head of Resourcing at BP Integrated Supply & Trading, and Global Manager of Resourcing and Diversity at Anglo American. Notably, Simon has held multiple HR leadership roles at BP Plc for over two decades, overseeing global recruitment policies, workforce planning, and organizational development across various regions.
