Simon Hayes has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the offshore wind industry. Currently serving as Head of QHSE for Offshore Development & EPC at Ørsted since September 2017, Simon has held several key positions, including Head of QHSE for Region Americas and Head of QHSE for Offshore North America. Prior to Ørsted, Simon worked at DONG Energy from August 2013 to September 2017, where roles included Team Lead - Site HSE and Site HSE Manager for the GODE Wind 01&02 offshore wind farm. Simon’s career also includes a position as HSSE Manager during the construction phase of the London Array offshore wind farm at London Array Limited from July 2011 to August 2013 and a decade-long tenure at RNLI as Divisional Marine Engineer & HSE Manager. Simon holds a degree from LLandrillo Technical College, attended from 1986 to 1989.
