Simon Lindberg currently serves as the Head of Project Execution for Bioenergy at Ørsted since October 2025. Prior to this role, Simon held various leadership positions at FLSmidth from October 2007 to October 2025, including Vice President of Global Capital Execution, where responsibilities encompassed a turnover exceeding 3 billion DKK annually. Simon also directed project execution for global projects and upgrades and managed the Cement Project Division, overseeing significant international cement plant projects. Additional experience includes serving as Project Director at Siemens Gamesa for a key offshore wind project and managing HVAC and firefighting systems projects at Novenco Marine & Offshore. Simon's educational background includes an Executive Management Programme from INSEAD and various leadership courses from the Leadership Pipeline Institute, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Odense.
