Simon Lysbjerg Hansen

Simon Lysbjerg Hansen is an experienced quantitative developer currently working at Ørsted since November 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held positions at Danske Bank from February 2015 to October 2022, serving as both Chief Analyst and Senior Analyst. Academic contributions include postdoctoral positions at the University of Southern Denmark from January 2012 to December 2014 and at Aarhus University from January 2010 to December 2011. Simon earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Economics, and Finance from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark between 1997 and 2006, and also gained experience as a visiting scholar in Financial Mathematics at The University of British Columbia during the 2004-2005 academic year.
