Stephen Velasco

Stephen Velasco is an experienced professional in digital workplace solutions, currently serving as the SharePoint Lead Product Owner at Ørsted since July 2019. In this role, Stephen guides the development of the M365/Teams collaboration platform, ensuring compliance with information management rules in collaboration with a team in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to Ørsted, Stephen was the IT Solution Architect for Flügger A/S, where responsibilities included the roll-out of a new SharePoint Online intranet. Stephen also held the position of Senior Application Manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, overseeing a global SharePoint 2010 intranet, and served as Knowledge Manager at Nycomed, contributing to R&D archiving initiatives. Earlier, Stephen held multiple roles at Hempel A/S, leading knowledge management projects and focusing on R&D in anti-fouling paint. Stephen holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
