Suraj Potdar is an experienced HVDC & HVAC Control & Protection Engineer currently working on the HOW03 Project at Ørsted since December 2022. Prior to this role, Suraj held positions at Siemens Energy, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Executive Engineer and Executive Engineer, leading control and protection for HVDC and HVAC projects while providing remote support to HVDC/FACTS installations. At Siemens India Limited, Suraj was an Executive Engineer, leading efforts on station control and protection in a VSC-based HVDC project in Tamil Nadu. Suraj holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University and a diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic College, Malwan.
