Thijs Lengkeek

Thijs Lengkeek is a Project Manager and Senior Project Lead at Ørsted since September 2019, focusing on Major Component Exchanges for over 1,500 offshore turbines globally within the Jack-Up and Heavy Lifting Team. Thijs began at Ørsted through a two-year graduate rotation program in Offshore Wind Power, gaining experience in various departments including a project management role in the Jack-Up & Heavy Lifting Solutions team. Prior work includes a Project Engineer position at Offshore Independents, providing project services to the offshore industry, and a Graduate Intern role at Boskalis, where Thijs conducted analyses for a thesis on offshore wind turbine installation. Additional experience includes assisting Project Engineers at Tideway Offshore Solutions and working as a Student at DOB-Academy. Thijs holds a Master of Science in Offshore & Dredging Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, with additional studies at Imperial College London.
