Thomas Plackattu is a Technical Project Manager at Ørsted, where responsibilities include supporting P2X projects for hydrogen production through green energy. In an interim role as Head of Electrical Engineering Managers, Thomas leads Technical Project Managers in both Offshore Wind and P2X initiatives. Previously, at TenneT from July 2015 to January 2023, Thomas served as Engineering Manager for the DolWin5 Offshore Substation project, where duties encompassed leading technical teams and managing the overall technical scope. Additional roles at TenneT included Sub-Project Lead for Low Voltage Auxiliary Systems and Interface Manager for the Borssele Alpha/Beta Offshore Substation projects. Earlier experience includes roles at Degremont as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer and Electrical Supervisor, and at the National Engineering and Construction Company in Qatar as an Electrical Engineer. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and a B-tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Rajagiri College of Engineering and Technology.
