Thomas Riding

Thomas Riding is a seasoned executive at Ørsted, currently serving as Vice President of Portfolio & Global Investment Strategy since September 2012. In this role, Thomas is responsible for the company's portfolio design and global investment strategy, providing critical advice to the Global Executive Team on capital allocation. Prior experience includes leading strategy and growth efforts for renewable energy initiatives in the Americas, overseeing the offshore wind business, and managing global business development and M&A within the offshore wind sector. Thomas's earlier roles include significant contributions to the US offshore wind market entry and involvement in high-performance electric sports car technology through previous work at Cheltenham Motorsports. Thomas holds an Executive Education qualification in Mergers and Acquisitions from London Business School, and completed an education at Newcastle University and Dean Close School.
