Torben Kenneth Hansen has extensive experience in the wind energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Lead Specialist at Ørsted since December 2015, focusing on Wind Turbine Generator project management and conducting independent gate reviews for wind farm packages. Prior to Ørsted, Torben held various positions at DONG Energy, including Senior Manager responsible for project management of wind turbine development and logistics, and Manager overseeing Wind Power Technology. Additional roles include Mechanical Engineer at Vattenfall, Project Manager at Elsam Engineering, and Application Specialist at SKF Group, among others. Torben holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ingeniørhøjskolen i Horsens, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
