Laszlo Barrena is currently a Senior Business Developer at Ørsted, leading lifetime extension efforts for the German offshore wind fleet and developing grid-stability assets across Northern Europe. Previously, V. gained experience in commodity trading and clearing at the European Energy Exchange AG and worked as a teaching assistant at Freie Universität Berlin. V. holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in International Energy Economics & Business Administration and a Master of Science in Economics & Business Administration from prestigious institutions. Passionate about game theory, endurance sports, and wreck diving, V. originally hails from Bilbao in the Spanish Basque Country.
