Igor Jan Rust

Igor Jan Rust is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and consultancy, currently employed at ORTEC since November 2011 in various roles including Software Engineer, Front-end Developer, Solution Consultant, and Implementation Consultant. Igor has successfully contributed to four international automated warehousing projects and has become an expert in ORTEC’s control software development, on-site implementations, and maintenance. Previous roles include serving as a Technical Consultant at APG, where Igor was responsible for data migration to Microsoft Azure, and as an Analytics Consultant/Data Engineer at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, involved in process and performance analyses. Additional experience includes implementation of production scheduling software at FrieslandCampina and research as part of a graduation project with Accenture. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Policy, and Management from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in the same field and academic experience at Instituto Superior Técnico.
