Tom Baksteen

Tom Baksteen is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in education and technology. Since January 2025, Tom has served as the Owner and Trainer at Focus First, where focus training is provided to groups, enhancing motivation and productivity. Tom also works as a Solutions Architect at ORTEC since October 2015, consulting on the implementation of routing products. Previously, Tom taught high school mathematics as a Private Teacher from January 2009 to December 2015 and conducted research during an internship at NCIM, focusing on forensic audio and video verification. Tom's earlier roles include PHP Developer and Technical Administration, along with creating educational Java applets for TU Delft. Tom holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology, completed in 2015.
