Heather Smith

Heather Smith, M.A., CPC, CPMA, serves as the Sr. Director of RCM Operations at OrthoFi since July 2025, focusing on strategic leadership and operational efficiency in revenue cycle management (RCM). Previously, Heather held roles including Vice President of Revenue Cycle and Interim Compliance Officer at University of Toledo Physicians, where responsibilities encompassed revenue cycle strategy development, operational efficiency improvements, and alignment with organizational goals. Earlier experiences include directing RCM operations at Saint Joseph Health System and La Porte Hospital, and positions in coding management and healthcare consulting. Heather holds a Master of Arts in Healthcare Leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration, complemented by an associate degree in Business Administration and Management.
