Sven Nottebaum's work experience begins in 2000 as a Marketing and Sales Manager at Global Village GmbH. In 2003, they worked as a Contract Researcher at Forschungszentrum Juelich, followed by a role as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London from 2004 to 2007. Sven then served as a Project Manager at Global Village GmbH from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Sven worked as a Technical Customer Adviser (Pharma) at Brenntag, followed by a position as a Product Specialist Bulk Chromatography Media at YMC from 2011 to 2013. Since 2013, Sven has been with Orthomol pharmazeutische Vertriebs GmbH, initially in product development & regulatory affairs, and currently as the Head of International Regulatory Affairs and International Product Development, wherein they handle registration/notification, market segmentation, and market entry strategy for dietary/food supplements. Additionally, they oversee global teams and is involved in number crunching, contract reviews, and negotiation with distributors. Sven also held the position of Head of Orthomol Innovations from 2017 to 2020.
Sven Nottebaum began their education at Olympic High School from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Sven then attended Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium Dinslaken from 1987 to 2000, where they earned their Abitur. Sven continued their education at Imperial College London, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from 2001 to 2004. Sven further pursued their studies at the same institution, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry from 2004 to 2007.
